I came across this lovely property today on Rightmove, and thought it was worth a mention. Chelmer Village is a very popular location and properties in this area always rent out really quickly.
This has just come on the market for £134,950 and it doesn’t look like it will need anything doing to it (as long as the photos are accurate)!
The selling agents have advised that there are currently tenants in place on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy paying £625 pcm, which would be a yield of 5.5%. However we have rented a very similar property in the last week which achieved £675! If you managed to increase the rent to this level, or put new tenants in for this level, this would increase the yield to 6%!
