Doing my usual Righmove searching and I’ve seen that there are a couple of properties on Baddow Road for sale at the moment that would make a good investment for buy to let purposes. They are both 2 bed houses, which are always popular, in good condition.
The first one is on the market with Beresfords, for £215,000 (full details on the link below)
It’s got quite a bit of character, being an older house, it also looks to be in fairly good condition. You would be looking at a rent of £850 pcm, which when you do the sums will generate you a gross yield of 4.7%
The other interesting option is on the market with us for £210,000. More interesting though for landlords is that this one is actually being sold with a tenant in place. The tenant in this property is already paying £850, which generates a marginally better yield of 4.8%. (negligable I know!)
