I was looking on Rightmove … again, (I know, I’m on there all the time!) and have come across another little gem. A lovely 1 bed apartment on Parkinson Drive, in The Village, which is a great rental area, Priced at £127,500, so me-thinks that they are looking for £125k, (I’m sure the agent would have advised the vendors that this is what will probably be offered due to the stamp duty bracket). The property potentially could be bought with a tenant in place, currently paying £650, which I would say is about right for this location. Based on these figures, you are looking at a yield of 6.1%, fantastic right?
Also, if you are able to buy with the tenant in place, this saves the expense of finding a new tenant straight away. Be quick though, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has spotted it!
