Having a little look on Rightmove this morning, I have come across this property, which is definitely not scary! It’s a very well presented 3 bed apartment, just off Broomfield Road in Chelmsford.
These apartments are a very good size as they are an older building, which are usually more generous than newer builds. The price that it is on the market for is £215,000, which when you compare this against the potential rental price of £850, could generate you a potential return of 5%.
As this is an older block, make sure you find out what the length of lease is, just in case it’s getting low, and also of course the service charge and ground rent figures need to be clarified.
