As some of my regular readers will know, I spend a fair chunk of time trawling the property portals, trying to find any potential good deals that would make a great buy to let investment. With more landlords coming to the market, it is more important now to make sure that landlords are buying the right types of property for what the market demands. That’s why I have been doing what I have to hopefully aid the decision making process.
This property could be a good one, always popular for rental purposes as these maisonettes are a really good size, this particular one also offers a garage which is an added bonus similar properties have rented in the area between £750 – £795, as this one has the garage and also a little garden, I would put it at the top end of the bracket.
It’s on the market with Owen Lyons for £175,000. Once the calculations have been done, this would look to potential gross you a 5.4% annual return, which is pretty good for Chelmsford
There are plenty of other buy to let deals coming to the market, but I can’t post them all on here, if you see any other properties out there and would like my honest opinion on whether it’s good bet or not, I am more than happy to do this. I will also give you a realistic rental price for it, not an overinflated one to get the sale!
